解答 解:(1)方程组整理得:$\left\{\begin{array}{l}{x+y=5①}\\{(a-1)x+2y=2a+4②}\end{array}\right.$,
①×2-②得:(3-a)x=6-2a,
∵a≠3,∴x=$\frac{6-2a}{3-a}$=$\frac{2(3-a)}{3-a}$=2,
把x=2代入①得:y=3,
则方程组的解为$\left\{\begin{array}{l}{x=2}\\{y=3}\end{array}\right.$;
(2)$\left\{\begin{array}{l}{ax-by=a①}\\{bx-ay=b②}\end{array}\right.$,
①+②得:(a+b)x-(a+b)y=a+b,
∵a2≠b2,(a+b)(a-b)≠0,
∴x-y=1③,
①-③×b得:(a-b)x=a-b,即x=1,
把x=1代入③得:y=0,
则方程组的解为$\left\{\begin{array}{l}{x=1}\\{y=0}\end{array}\right.$.
