The things that made you feel uncomfortable or strange are now things that you understand. Now you feel comfortable, and you have adapt yourself to the new culture.

In fact, culture shock is something you must experience when living in a foreign country. It does not seem like a very useful experience when you are going through its four periods. However, when you have got used to a new culture, you can more fully enjoy it. You learn how to communicate with other people, and learning about other cultures helps you learn more about yourself.

During the Song Dynasty, doctors needed to show thy understood meridians (经络) — paths of energy running through the body.
