Three friends and I was driving on a highway. While we were going at least 50 miles per hour, we passed over a car. It had broken down, stopped on the side of the road. My friend slows down, and pulled behind the other car. He got out of the car immediate and before I knew it he was helping the other person push the car down the road to a spot where wasn’t so close to the passing cars. My plane was an hour late when it landed at Kansas City International Airport. Standing right next to my luggages, I wondered how I should do in case no one would turn up to meet us. Nowadays, lots of students plan to study abroad and study abroad has been popular in our country. More and more middle school students would like to go to abroad. Is it good to study abroad? In my opinion, on the one hand, it had some advantages. Studying abroad can provide better studying condition. People can make rapid progress on their foreign language study and it can also help widen their field of view. Beside, young students can learn advancing science and technology from foreign countries and spread cultures of different nations. On the other hand, it has disadvantages. For example, because of lack of living experience and poor capability to take care of themselves, they may feel alone and homesick. My summer travel started terribly .I was at the Shanghai Railway Station buy a ticket to Hang Zhou. I was going to visit a friend here and after that I would go to Xiamen for long holiday. When my father bought me a computer as a birthday gift for me in last year, I felt very excited. As we all know, computers are getting more and more usefully now. I will spend the summer holiday in the country next year. Although the city is modern and convenience, there are still some problem, such as air pollution and noise. Several days before, a few of my friend and I went on a picnic on the beach of the Jialing River. It is about five miles far from the city. We arrived that place in the morning. Most of us go swimming immediately. While in the water, we played an interesting game. Those which were on the beach had some other activity. Some of them even sang and danced happy. There were still others who were interested in nothing, except picked beautiful stones. In the evening, we returned home.  What a happy day it was!
