Over the holidays, my parents had to ask me many times how to take a photograph on their mobile phones because they kept forgetting. Recently, to keep in touch while I am abroad, my mum decided to create a Weibo page. My mum only has 11 “friends"--two of them are me and my sister! And she comments on EVERY THING we do. Listening to as much English as possible will help to improve your speaking. Listening to songs, films, TV series will help you feel more confident about speaking.

Slow down! It's not a race. Before you speak, think carefully about what to say and speak a little slower than normal.
