Children will wear new clothes and have a lot of delicious food. They can also get some lucky money from their parents or relatives. So they like this festival very much. The Spring Festival lasts for 15 days. During these days,people go to visit their friends or relatives,and they often say “Happy New Year” or “Wish you prosperity!” to each other.
Another traditional festival is the Mid-Autumn Festival. It is celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese lunar calendar. The Mid-Autumn Festival is a time when people celebrate the harvest,enjoy the get-together with their family, eat mooncakes, some fruit and other food,and appreciate the most beautiful moon outside their houses.
National Day is also a traditional festival in our country. It is a time to celebrate the birth of the People’s Republic of China.
