Mike reading playing computer games.

A. prefers; than B. prefers; to

C. would rather; than D. would rather; to

would rather do sth.” would(或had)rather的缩写形式为 ’d rather。would (had) rather中的would并无过去的意思。 would rather与than连用,可构成另一个惯用句式,即:“would rather...than....”,意谓“宁可(愿)……(而)不要(愿)……”、“与其…… I would rather watch TV at home than go to the cinema. The children would rather walk there than take a bus. 在使用“would rather...than...” prefer to do sth和prefer doing sth的用法都有,但是有细微的区别。prefer to do是指短时间的,而prefer doing是长期的。 prefer A to B:喜欢A胜于B。若要加动词,那么就是prefer doing A to doing B。 还有一种用法是:prefer to do A rather than do B。
