【答案】

1shall we

2to write

3so that

4How long

5What do

It's adj. to do sth.,对照可知,这里填to write

3句意:我妹妹太小了不能去上学。

根据句意理解可知,这里表达的是“如此……以至于……”,英语中too…to结构可以和结果状语从句的so…that…进行转换,故填sothat

4句意:他花了几个月才康复。

根据划线部分months可知,这里提问的是“多长时间”,英语中表示“多长时间”是how long,故本题填How long

5句意:珍妮建议我弹钢琴。

【题目】 I grew up in New Hampshire, a small town in South Canada, where in my father’s words for the seasons were “Spring. Summer, Fairtime and Winter!” At that time, a week-long fair was held in the town every autumn. Thousands of people from other towns came to sell and buy things. It was the busiest time of the year.

When “Fairtime” came, my grandma became the most “useful” and busiest person of the family. Grandma was good at cooking. All her relatives liked the food she cooked. During “Fairtime”, they would come to live in her house and have meals there.

Grandma was always happy to look after them.

Year after year, many people moved to big cities. There was no longer “Fairtime”. Grandma became very old and was gradually going blind. We did our best to make her day-to-day life as comfortable as possible. However, she didn’t look happy. She often sat in her room for hours, without saying a word.

To attract people to move back, the Town Hall decided to reopen the fair. One day, when I came back from school. Grandma, with a big smile on her face, told me her two nieces(侄女) would come. “They said the food I cooked was very delicious and they want to stay in my house again.” Grandma said happily, “They will stay here for one week and we can have a big party. 【题目】①Benjamin Franklin was born in Boston in 1706. He is remembered as an inventor, writer, statesman, and signer of the Declaration of Independence. His father was a soap-maker and candle-maker with a large family. At the age of 10, Ben was taken out of school and put to work in the shop. The Franklin family lived near the water, so Ben learned to swim well and row small boats. But all great people were kids once and got into trouble. In writing about his life, Franklin wrote that he was a leader among the boys in his neighbourhood and something led them into troubles. There was a salt marsh nearby. Ben decided to build a wharf (码头) there, so that they could stand on it to fish. He showed his friends many stones, which were used for a new house. That evening, when the workmen were gone, he asked his friends to take all the stones away to build their wharf. Soon, Ben and his friends were discovered and several of them were corrected by their fathers.② And though Ben explained the usefulness of the work, his father told him that nothing was useful if he was not honest.
