I'm writing this letter to express my thanks to you for helping me with my English study during the past two years.

I can still remember how poor my English was when I came to junior high school. And I even felt frightened each time I had an English class. Knowing this, you communicated with me patiently and let me know the importance of learning English well. Then you even spent much of your free time helping me. With your help, I got good marks in the final examination. You are such a good teacher I have made great progress.

Next year I will keep working hard to get better grades and I wish you good health and all the best in the new year.
