What is life's greatest gift? It is choice. Choice is the ability to choose some actions from a set of things to achieve a goal. 1. The reason is that it turns us from dumb animals into artists. Choice becomes the tool we use to sculpt(µñ¿Ì) our life. The tool doesn't come free, however, for the price of choice is responsibility.2. It is enjoyment.

Choice is power. Choice is at the heart of life. It is the creative power of life. Life is always changing and we have to make lots of choices. 3. We often need to check where we are on our journey. We need to ask questions: Am I moving closer to my goals? If not, what action will I take now to make myself realize my goals?

4.And our life becomes more convenient or comfortable because of them. For example, you decide which store to shop at and which bus station to go to. But the decisions that we make to sculpt our lives are much more important than deciding where to shop. The more we understand the difference between small and big decisions, the more pleasure we will get.

Life is like a chess game.5. All chess lovers realize that it isn't necessary to win to enjoy the game. Make the best moves you can under the conditions. Then you can enjoy your life.

A£®Why is choice so great?

B£®The pleasure is in the playing.

C£®In fact, we have to make choices every day.

D£®But when we accept and carry it out, we get a great return.

E£®Because making right choices is more important than working hard.

F£®Every choice we make leads us closer to or farther from our goals.

G£®Do you enjoy making choices?

Many of us know that a beautiful and colourful butterfly comes from an ugly worm! Here is the story of a butterfly that was never able to live its life as a normal butterfly.

One day, a man saw a cocoon(²Ï¼ë). He loved butterflies and had a craze for its wonderful colours. In fact, he spent a lot of time around butterflies. He knew how a butterfly would struggle(ÕõÔú,·Ü¶·) to turn into a beautiful one from an ugly caterpillar.

He saw the cocoon with a tiny opening. It meant that the butterfly was trying to make its way out to enjoy the world. He decided to watch how the butterfly would come out of the cocoon. He was watching the butterfly struggling to break the shell for several hours. He spent almost more than 10 hours with the cocoon and the butterfly. The butterfly had been struggling very hard for hours to come out through the tiny opening. Unfortunately, even after it continuously tried for several hours, there was no progress. It seemed that the butterfly had tried its best and could not give any more try.

The man, who had a passion and love for butterflies, decided to help the butterfly. He got a pair of scissors and tweaked the cocoon to make larger opening for the butterfly and removed the remaining cocoon. The butterfly came out without any struggle!

Unfortunately, the butterfly looked no longer beautiful and had a swollen body with small and withered(µòлµÄ) wings.

The man was happy that he had made the butterfly come out of the cocoon without any more struggles. He continued to watch the butterfly and was quite eager to see it fly with its beautiful wings. He thought that at any time, the butterfly might spread its wings, shrink(ÊÕËõ) the body and the wings could support the body. Unfortunately, _____________ 91_______________

Instead, the butterfly just crawled around with withered wings and a huge body. It was never able to fly. Although the man did it with a good intention(Òâͼ), he did not know that only by going through struggles the butterfly can come out to be beautiful, with strong wings.

The continuous effort from the butterfly to come out of its cocoon would let the liquid stored in the body be turned into wings. Thus, the body would become lighter and smaller, and the wings would be beautiful and large.

If we don¡¯t want to undergo any struggle, we won¡¯t be able to fly! Life is difficult, but struggles make us shine!

Complain(±§Ô¹) Politely

Not everything goes the way you want it to. You may go to a restaurant and order a nice meal. But your order is wrong or not cooked properly. You may buy a product that breaks the next day.

1.However, if you speak angrily to people, they will become defensive(×ÔÎÀµÄ). Then they are less likely to help you. A more effective (ÓÐЧµÄ)way to get what you want is to stay calm.

Use polite language and a friendly tone of voice. Start with phrases such as, " I'm sorry to bother you, but. "or" Excuse me, but could you.?" For example, "I'm sorry to bother you, but I ordered potato soup, not vegetable, "Phrasing your complaint as a question also helps. 2.Could you help me? I just bought this phone case yesterday, but it's cracked.¡±

3.There is no faster way to make someone defensive than by blaming them. Use

the phrase.¡° I know this isn't your fault, but¡¡±or¡°There has been a misunderstanding.¡± 4.Blaming people isn¡¯t as important as getting a problem fixed!

There are honest mistakes, but at times someone may try to take advantage of you. In that case, don¡¯t say "Hey! You're trying to cheat me! "Instead, use the phrase, "I understood that.." For example. "I understood that the service charge was included in the price. Then give the person a chance to answer.

If you don't get what you want with polite conversation, ask to speak to a manager or supervisor. 5..

A. When trying to comet a problem, don¡¯t blame (Ôð±¸)the person you re talking to.

B. People like to be asked rather than told!

C. But usually, you'll find that polite words and a smile will resolve a situation.

D. These kinds of experiences make you want to complain.
