In April, there is a special(特殊的) day when people remember their ancestors (祖先). It is Qingming Festival. This year, the day is on April 4th.

Qingming Festival is a traditional Chinese festival. On this day, families bring flowers, food and wine (酒) to the tombs(坟墓) of their ancestors. They put cakes and fruits in front of the tombs. After that, they clean dirt (污垢) off the tombs and remember their dead family members.

Why do Chinese people do this? Because people want to show respect (尊重) to their dead family members.
