My teacher made me change

At first, I was not interested in English. My English teacher Miss Li changed my life.

One day, Miss Li told us we would have an English speech two weeks later. I was not happy. My English was so poor that I was afraid to speak in public. She came up to me and said “Be confident in yourself and you’ll make it.” Then I studied hard and practiced every day. I got the first prize at last. Now I understand that if you decide to do something and put your heart into it, you will succeed.
