【题目】 It is reported that some developed countries have shipped(运往)broken parts of computers to China. Last month Hong Kong officers found 131,000 kilograms of broken computers,TVs and phones sent from Japan.

Things like these are called electronic waste,or ewaste. Dealing with them is not an easy job. Every time an old computer breaks down,it needs to be dealt with safely. What is worse,at present,broken computer parts are usually buried. It may be hundreds of years before they are really gone in the earth.

Many places in China are polluted by ewaste. Guiyu in Guangdong Province is one of them. This town is named as “the ewaste capital of the world”. It has to deal with 1.5 million kilograms of ewaste each year,from which it makes 75 million yuan. But it comes at a cost.

Always remember to turn off the lights when you leave your house.

Always use stairs and don’t use elevators(电梯), because elevators may break down anytime. If the room is full of smoke, keep close to the floor where the air is cleaner and cooler. Once help arrives, wave the flashlight or cloth at the window to let the firefighters know where you are.

It is very important for schools to train the students to get to know about some safety skills when a fire breaks out or when an earthquake happens, because no one knows what accident will happen next minute. If the schools are able to do more drills like this, fewer deaths and injuries will happen in our life.

When I was in college, a white cat liked to show up on our campus now and then. It was clear that he was a stray (流浪的) cat because he looked thin . Students would play with him after class and feed him all kinds of food. The school didn’t say anything about the cat for a long time.

But one day, we were told that one of our fellow students had an infectious (传染性的) disease and that the cat was possibly the source（来源）. After that, we were not allowed to touch any stray animals on campus. The school started to make efforts to keep animals off campus as well.

Since we were not allowed to feed the white cat, it was hard for him to find food on the street. He became all skin and bones.
