5Linda ________ (举止) well at the party last night.

【答案】

1relaxed

2season

3knock

4suggestions

5behaved

本题第4题出现了suggestion(建议)一词,另外一个词advice也有“建议”之意,advicesuggestion是名词,两者的最大区别在于advice是不可数名词,表示“一条建议”用a piece of advice,“一些建议”是some advice;而suggestion则是可数名词,表示“一条建议”用a suggestion,“一些建议”是some suggestions, “许多建议”是many suggestions。

You may look it up in the English-Chinese dictionary. It will tell you a lot about the word: the pronunciation, the Chinese meaning and how to use the word. But how can you know where the word is thousands of English words? How to find it in the dictionary both quickly and correctly?
