The answer to why so many characters wear gloves is that animation is a very hard process. It takes time and precision(精确）to create the characters you know and love. Besides keeping the animation simple, Walt Disney told the New York Times that the gloves exist(存在）for another reason: to humanize the mouse. "We didn't want him to have mouse hands because he was supposed to be more human, we gave him gloves. But five fingers seemed like too much on such a little character, so we took away one.
