There are billions of stars
in the sky -- but you can only see about 3,000 with your own eyes. Some people
might say that it’s very difficult to learn the names of 3,000 stars. It isn’t!
You can do it. Here is one way to start. Get a star map and begin to find your
way through the sky. Many of the stars are in groups. The shapes of these
groups never change. At different seasons, you will see different star groups.
It is easy to learn the name of each group. Not all stars are the same. Some
are bigger, some are smaller. Some look white, some look red, some look blue.
You’ll soon see all the different ones.
