Davis says，cars will be fitted with some intelligent devices to regulate the distance between one car and another.The car will automatically speed up，or slow down，to match the speed of the car in front.Computers are much safer drivers than people，so cars in a road train will be able to drive much closer together than cars driven by people.

Three Boys and a Dad

Brad closed the door slowly as Sue left home to visit her mother. Expecting a whole day to relax, he was thinking whether to read the newspaper or watch his favourite TV talk show on his first day off in months. “This will be like a walk in the park.” he’d told his wife. “I’ll look after the kids, and you can go visit your mom.”

A new eight-kilometre road is under construction that links the port area with the motorway system. It is expected to carry 20,000 trucks and cars a day, which greatly reduces the overcrowded traffic in the center of the city.
