【题目】To forgive (原谅) may be great, but no one ever said it was easy. When someone has deeply hurt you, it can be extremely difficult to let go of your anger. But forgiveness is possible — and it can be surprisingly beneficial to your physical and mental health.【1】
So how do you start the recovering? Try following these steps:
Calm yourself.【2】 You just take a couple of breaths and think of something that gives you pleasure: a beautiful scene in nature, someone you love.
Don’t wait for an apology. Many times the person who hurt you has no intention of apologizing.【3】 So if you wait for people to apologize, you could be waiting an awfully long time.
Take the control away from your offender (冒犯者).【4】 Instead of focusing on your wounded feelings, learn to look for the love, beauty and kindness around you.
【5】 If you understand that person, you may realize that he or she was acting out of love. To gain the same feeling, you may want to write a letter to yourself from your offender’s point of view.
Don’t forget to forgive yourself. For some people, forgiving themselves is the biggest challenge. But it can rob you of your self-confidence if you don’t do it.
A. There are several ways to forgive and forget.
B. Recognize the benefits of forgiveness.
C. People who forgive show less stress and feel more energetic.
D. Mentally replaying your hurt gives power to the person who caused your pain.

根据上文说“it can be surprisingly beneficial to your physical and mental health” 这对你的身心健康是非常有益的。
根据上文可知“Don’t wait for an apology. Many times the person who hurt you has no intention of apologizing” 不要等道歉。 分析选项可知E(他们可能想伤害你,或者他们和你不是用同样的方式看待问题。)
本段的内容“Take the control away from your offender (冒犯者).”
。根据后面的“If you understand that person,, you may realize that he or she was acting out of love.” 分析选项G(试着从别人的立场看问题).
如表示转折关系的but,though, however 等。
