=$\frac{4}{5}$+($\frac{3}{8}+\frac{2}{8}$)
=$\frac{4}{5}$+$\frac{5}{8}$
=$\frac{32}{40}$+$\frac{25}{40}$
=$\frac{11}{8}$

(2)2-$\frac{3}{7}$-$\frac{4}{7}$
=2-($\frac{3}{7}$+$\frac{4}{7}$)
=2-1
=1

(3)$\frac{5}{8}$-$\frac{1}{3}$+$\frac{5}{12}$
=$\frac{15}{24}$-$\frac{8}{24}$+$\frac{10}{24}$
=$\frac{7}{24}+\frac{10}{24}$
=$\frac{17}{24}$

(4)38.7-7.84÷1.4
=38.7-5.6
=33.1

(5)$\frac{5}{12}$-($\frac{1}{12}$-$\frac{1}{2}$)
=$\frac{5}{12}$-$\frac{1}{12}$+$\frac{1}{2}$
=$\frac{1}{3}+\frac{1}{2}$
=$\frac{5}{6}$

(6)8.8-2.5×1
=8.8-2.5
=6.3

(7)5$\frac{4}{5}$+$\frac{7}{8}$-1$\frac{4}{5}$+0.125
=5$\frac{4}{5}$+$\frac{7}{8}$-1$\frac{4}{5}$+$\frac{1}{8}$
