Last week we had a discussion among the teachers and the students of our school as to whether schools should require their students to wear uniforms. It is demonstrated that most teachers are for the idea while the majority of students are against it. The teachers believe that wearing uniforms helps develop team spirit, a sense of equality, and reduce the cost of parents. The students stand in opposition not only because school uniforms are of low quality and thus uncomfortable, but also because school uniforms lack variety and thus do not help exhibit individuality.
