¡¾´ð°¸¡¿The Pride of China
Yang Liwei was born in a farmer¡¯s family in Suizhong County, Liaoning Privince in June, 1965.
When he was a child, he dreamed of flying in the blue sky. He joined the army in June, 1983. Nine years later he went to work in air force in Chengdu. In August 1996 he was chosen to be one of the 14 astronaut candidates from 1500 pilots through the physical examination.
He was a wise soldier and worked hard in the army. He became the first astronaut of our country in 1998 and was chosen to be one of the first manned space aircraft astronauts. On October 15, 2003 he successfully flew to space and carried out some research work.
He is the honor of our motherland and will be remembered forever by Chinese people. We should learn from him.
