Dear Rita,
I’m very happy to have you as our English teacher.
With the development of science and technology, the world is becoming a global village; so English is getting more and more important. What’s more, only by having a good command of English can we see the world through a new window.
My English is just OK and the two main problems in my study are that I feel it difficult to learn words by heart, and that I often feel nervous when speaking English. As a result, I’m not as active as other students in English class.
I’d be grateful if you can give me good advice on how to memorize new words. Another suggestion is to give us more chances to practice speaking. I do believe we can make much progress in English with your help.
