Last week, Professor Wang, who is a famous expert on earthquakes, gave us a speech on how to save ourselves during an earthquake.

First he impressed us with the importance of learning earthquake safety tips using some real examples. He proved that a little knowledge and a few precautionary measures can increase our chances of surviving an earthquake or any other type of dangers.

Then he showed us what to do，especially during an earthquake. We should try our best to keep calm and quickly move to a safe place during an earthquake. If we are indoors, stay there and hide ourselves in a place such as under a strong desk or a strong table. If outdoors, move to an open area where falling objects are unlikely to strike us. Move away from buildings, power lines and trees.

I think the speech is very useful and all of us need to know what to do during an earthquake.
