It was a Saturday morning in May. When Mrs. Edwards opened the window and looked out, she smiled and said, “It's going to be a beautiful day.” She woke up her little son at eight thirty and said to him, “Get up, Teddy. We are going to go to the zoo today. Wash your hands and face and eat your breakfast quickly. We are going to go to New York by train.” Teddy was six years old. He was happy now, because he liked going to the zoo very much, and he also liked going by train. He said, “I dreamed about the zoo last night, Mum.” His mother was in a hurry, but she stopped and smiled at her little son, “You did, Teddy?” She said. “And what did you do in the zoo in your dream?” Teddy laughed and answered, “You know, Mum! You were there in my dream, too.”

Robots seem very new to most people. But they have a long history. The first one was made by a Greek inventor. You may have seen robots in some films. The robots in these films are stronger, faster and cleverer than people. In real life, most robots are used in factories. They are used to do many dangerous (危险的), difficult or boring jobs. Some people can't look after themselves and robots are used to help them. For example, some people can't see. Many of these people use a dog to help themselves move around. This dog is called a guide dog (导盲狗). Scientists are making a robot to help them. In the future, robot dogs might take the place of (代替) these guide dogs.

Robots are also used in American hospitals. At one hospital, a robot takes meals from the kitchen to the sick people's rooms. It never loses its way because it has a map of the hospital in its computer system.

In the future, robots will work in space. But robots will never take the place of human help. They can, however, help us in a lot of different ways.

先阅读下列短文,然后根据文章内容判断正(T)误(F)

If you go into the forest with friends, stay with them. If you don't, you may get lost. If you get lost, this is what you should do.

Sit down and stay where you are. Don't try to find your friends--let them find you. You can help them to find you by staying in one place.

There is another way to help your friends or other people to find you. You can shout or whistle (吹口哨) three times. Stop. Then shout or whistle

three times again. Any signal (信号) given three times is a call for help. Keep up the shouting or whistling, always three times to get help. When

people hear you, they will know that you are not just making noise for fun. They will let you know that they have heard your signal. They will give

you two shouts or two whistles. When a signal is given twice, it is an answer to a call for help . If you don't think that you will get help before night

comes, try to make a little house--cover up the hole with branches (树枝) with lots of leaves. Make yourself a bed with leaves and grass. When

you need some water, you have to leave your little house to look for a stream (小溪). Don't just walk away. Pick off small branches and drop them as you walk in order to find the way back. When you are lost, the most important thing to do is stay in one place.
