     What can we do during this hour? We can do lots of fun things in the dark,such as planning a candlelight dinner for our family or a group of friends,telling stories and singing songs with the kids and neighbors.

Emma

I was on one of the mountains near the city and took photos of my city. It was great to watch the stars and the moon after a busy day so that I could enjoy this relaxing moment.

Albert

I work as a waiter in a restaurant. Our restaurant was still open even for Earth Hour as we got lots of reservations (预定) that night. So we spent the hour working by candlelight. And guess what?

Our customers loved that and promised to come for next Earth Hour.

Brandon

I turned off the main power to my house and went for a walk for Earth Hour. It was a little strange to walk in the dark,but it was only for one hour.Just think of what it must have been like before the invention of the light bulb!

Mary

I invited my friends who know and support Earth Hour activities. We actually had a candlelight concert and we talked about the old happy days that we spent together in college.

    The Earth Hour was from 8 ： 30 pm to 9;30 pm on Saturday,March 26th this year. It was a pity that I didn’t realize it was Earth Hour until I watched news on TV. At that time,I was shopping with my mother at the mall.As a student,I have done lots of things to protect the environment.For example,I always carry a cloth bag while shopping. Besides,I often ride a bike to school instead of taking a car. I think we can care for the earth by doing so. Let’s take part in the Earth Hour next year.
