The hardest thing in the world is saying yes to the world. Do you say yes to the world? Most of us have a habit of going through our days saying no to the things we don’t like and yes to the things we like, and yet, everything we face is our life. We won’t say yes to the things we do not like, because we are afraid that we will not remove them forever.

But in fact, it is only through accepting the existence(存在) of what’s not working for us that we can begin to change our ideas. When we say yes to the world, we begin to believe that whatever our situation is, we can work with it. We express belief in ourselves, and the world, and we also express a willingness to learn from whatever happens to us, rather than running and hiding when we don’t like what we see. Therefore, in one word, saying yes is really good for our life.

The question we might ask ourselves is what it will take to get to the point of saying yes. For some of us, it takes dealing with something we can’t run away from or refuse, and so we have no choice but to say yes. For others, they might make a decision to say yes to life no matter what happens to them. Saying yes to life might be difficult at first, and even painful at times, but if we continue to say yes to life, it will be far less difficult in the end. And we will find the joy of being in a positive(积极的) talk to the world with a very powerful word ‘yes’. We should accept everything life puts in front of us.

Most of us have a habit of going through our days saying no to the things we dont like and yes to the things we like, and yet, everything we face is our life.(我们中的大多数人都有一个习惯,对自己不喜欢的事说不,对自己喜欢的事说是,但是,我们面对的一切都是我们的生活。) have a habit of:有习惯,意思是be used to doing sth.(习惯于做某事);结合句意和提示可知填used

4We wont say yes to the things we do not like, because we are afraid that we will not remove them forever.(我们不会对我们不喜欢的东西说“是”,因为我们害怕永远不会去掉它们。) The reason of的原因,The reason of sth. is (that)+从句=because+从句。

3We express belief in ourselves, and the world, and we also express a willingness to learn from whatever happens to us, rather than running and hiding when we dont like what we see.(我们表达了对自己和世界的信仰,我们也表达了从发生在我们身上的任何事情中学习的意愿,而不是在我们不喜欢我们所看到的事情时逃避。) express a willingness to do sth.:心甘情愿做某事,等于be willing to do sth.:愿意做某事。

4Saying yes to life might be difficult at first, and even painful at times, but if we continue to say yes to life, it will be far less difficult in the end.(一开始对生活说“是”可能很困难,有时甚至很痛苦,但如果我们继续对生活说“是”,最终的困难会小得多。)

We should accept everything life puts in front of us.(我们应该接受生活带给我们的一切。)
