Understanding is a bridge between teachers and students. Once I copied my deskmate’s test paper during an exam and handed it in. The next day, my teacher told the whole class about it. I lost face. I hated the teacher.
A few days later, the teacher had a heart-to-heart talk with me. He said he could understand that I would like to be good. But to be good should depend on hard work. From then on, with his help, I became so interested in study that I made great progress.
