【题目】请阅读黑板上的问题及六个小标题,将其与下列五个同学对此问题的陈述进行匹配。其中有一项为多余选项。

A. Learning, not memorizing B. Studying gets boring C. Less a stress with tests

D. Better job preparation E. Better by the book F. Creative learning

Matt

16. I think kids learn better by studying for tests. If you actually sit and study what you are supposed to learn, you’ll remember it. Hands-on projects might end up making a kid feel stressed if they are trying to finish on time, and if you are stressed, you might not learn as much.

Katie

17. When people study, they remember what was in the book. If they know they have a test, they will be most likely to take notes of all the important information to help them with the test, so they will learn it better.

Alyssa

18. With a hands-on project, you can be creative while you learn. It’s also a lot more fun than sitting at a desk with flashcards. Plus with a hands-on project, you can learn more than you expected. It’s more satisfying to learn on your own without someone explaining it to you.

Wendy

19. Hands-on projects are better. When you are studying for a test, it can get boring and then you get distracted(注意力分散的). You learn better by doing projects because it is not boring and you experience new things depending on what you are doing.

Haley

20. I think kids learn hands-on projects because they have to consider the topic, instead of just memorizing information that they’ll forget about after the test. Also, completing a project is good for spending time with your friends or family.

【题目】May 24th

This morning, we had a school trip to the Dashan Collection House, a building of two floors. It is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. We got there as soon as it was open. When we entered the collection house, our eye was caught by a collection of old photos of the town on the walls of the front hall. Those photos told us something about the history of the town. And then in the art room, we saw many pictures of the countryside. The colours of the flowers and the trees are rich and bright. All at once, I lost myself in the beauty of nature.

Then we went upstairs. On the left, there were over one hundred different clocks. The oldest clock was already more than two hundred years old. To my surprise, the clocks all worked well and they could tell the right time. It was then ten o'clock, and some clocks produced different beautiful sounds. It seemed to be a concert. How amazing!

On the right there was also a stone collection. The stones were from all over the country. They were in different sizes, colours and shapes. Some looked like different kinds of animals. I really liked one stone that looked like a little monkey. It looked very nice.

The collections there were wonderful. So we stayed there until 11:30 in the morning. I had a great time and really liked the school trip.
