【题目】 Hello, everyone. Here is something important for everyone going to London next month. As you know, you are going to stay with a family for two weeks. Now, the most important thing is money. You should take about $530 with you. I think it will be enough for everyone. Then, when you arrive, your new family will meet you. You must remember to wear a red shirt, so the family will find you easily. They’ve been told you all wear red shirts. You’ll also need to take with you 4 photos of yourself and, of course, it’s very important that you take the school letter. While you’re there, if you have any problems, you can call Leech School Office. I’ll give you the office phone number now: it’s 580-4436 and the person to ask for is Mrs. Belcher…She’s in the office from nine o’clock in the morning until five in the afternoon every day. OK. Christmas Is for Love

Christmas is for joy, for giving and 1 , for reuniting with family and friends. But mostly, Christmas is for love. I didn't know this until I received a wonderful gift one Christmas.

Mark was an 11-year-old orphan(孤儿)who lived with his aunt. I hadn't noticed Mark until he began staying after class each day to help me clean our classroom. We didn't talk much, but 2 the quiet hours of the day. When we did talk, Mark spoke mostly of his mother. Though he was quite little when she died, he remembered her as a kind, gentle, loving woman who always spent a lot of time with him.

As Christmas drew near, Mark stopped staying after school. I had always looked forward to 3 him. One afternoon, as he was leaving our classroom, I stopped him and asked why he hadn't been staying around to help me clean. I told him how I had missed him and explained how he had been my best helper. "I was making you a surprise," he whispered 4. "It's for Christmas." After saying that, he became embarrassed and rushed out of the room. He didn't stay after school anymore after that.

Finally, the last school day before Christmas came. Mark gave me a tiny box. I opened the wooden box and found nothing in it. I held the empty box and asked gently, "What is this, Mark?"

"It's love," he whispered softly, "and mother always said it's the 5 when you give it away." And he turned and quietly left the room.

Yes, Christmas is for good and wonderful 6 . But mostly, Christmas is for love.
