How would you feel if your parents had a second child? Different students have different opinions about this _____

【答案】范文

How would you feel if your parents had a second child? Different students have different opinions about this.

Some students agree with the idea. They think, if so, they won't feel lonely and there will always be someone to play with. Besides, if their parents get old or ill ,they can take turns to look after them. However, some students disagree. They worry that they will get less love from their parents if another child comes to the family .What's worse, they may not get along well, or even fight against each other.

As for me, I'd love to have a brother or sister as company, so that we can share our happiness and sorrow any time.

【题目】 “Ghost of the Future!” Scrooge exclaimed, “I fear you more than any ghost I have seen. But as I know your purpose is to do me good, and as I hope to live to be another man from what I was, I am prepared to accept your company, and do it with a thankful heart. Will you not speak to me?”

The ghost gave him no reply. It stopped beside one little group of business men. Seeing that the hand was pointed to them, Scrooge advanced to listen to their talk.

“No,” said a great fat man with a monstrous chin, “I don’t know much about it, either way. I only know he’s dead.”

“When did he die?” asked another.

“Last night, I believe.”

“Why, what was the matter with him?” asked a third man, taking a vast quantity of snuff out of a very large snuff-box. “I thought he’d never die.”

“God knows,” said the first, with a yawn.

“What has he done with his money?” asked the fourth man, a red-faced gentleman with a pendulous excrescence on the end of his nose, which shook like the gills of a turkey-cock.

“I haven’t heard,” said the first man with the large chin, yawning again. “Left it to his company, perhaps. He hasn’t left it to me. That’s all I know.”

This pleasantry was received with a general laugh.

“It’s likely to be a very cheap funeral(葬礼),” said the same speaker, “for upon my life I don't know of anybody to go to it. Suppose we make up a party and volunteer?”

“I don’t mind going if a lunch is provided.” said the gentleman with the excrescence on his nose. “But I must be fed, if I make one!”

Another laugh.

“Well, I am the most disinterested among you, after all,” said the first speaker, “for I never wear black gloves, and I never eat lunch. But I’ll offer to go, if anybody else will. When I come to think of it, I’m not at all sure that I wasn’t his most particular friend; for we used to stop and speak whenever we met. Bye, bye.”

Speakers and listeners strolled away, and mixed with other groups. Scrooge knew the men, and looked towards the ghost for an answer.

【题目】 Enjoy for life or the twitter?

Recently, twittering has been a so popular tool for us to share everything we experienced online.

Whatever you do, wherever you go or whoever you are, twittering is always the first space you seem to go into and share you joy. 1 Or do we just do them for twittering to get others’ attention?

As far as I am concerned, most of people just twitter everything to get other’s attention. 2 Several days ago, one of my friends invited me to have dinner with her in a newly opened restaurant. It’s so hard to get a reservation so the minute we sat at the table, we couldn’t wait to order all the specials here. Soon our dinner was ready. 3 The reason is that she needed to take a photo of each dish and post it. After about five minutes, I was finally allowed to eat. But some of the dishes had become cold and lost its original flavors. That’s just one of my embarrassing experiences caused by twittering. 4

Besides, twitter is a just way to help us enjoy the life better but not a way to make up our life. 5 They try to post all the good sides of a matter, leading others to ignore the hidden things. As a result, people need to know how to tell the differences between the truth and lies.

In a word, with the development of high technology, more and more social networks will come out and influence our lives. The most important thing is to learn to use them to better our life.

A.Therefore, we should enjoy for life but not the twitter.

B.Some doubt if twitter is a good way to enjoy life.

C.So, do we have various activities for the fun of life?

D.In this way they will lose the chance to enjoy the beauty that awaits them.

E.Lots of people right now are making use of the twitter to post something unreal.

F.As soon as I took the first bite of all the delicious food, my friend stopped me.

【题目】 Would you like to live in a city where buildings turn the lights off for you, and self-driving cars will find the nearest parking space themselves? Although it might sound a little far from you, living in a “smart” city like this could happen sooner than you think.
