【题目】 Welcome to Burton Safari Park. Burton is one of Europe’s oldest wildlife parks. Here you can see wild animals from all over the world — and they’re not in cages. Before we start, we have some information for the animal’s safety and for your own. First, please stay in your car at all times. If there is an emergency (紧急情况) or your car breaks down, please use your horn (喇叭) and lights and a person will come and help you. If you would like to stop, please do so on the left side of the road, so the traffic will pass on the right.

Please don’t feed the animals. Our animals are fed on special diets and your food could make them ill or even kill them.

We’re starting our tour with some of Burton’s most interesting animals, our four white rhinos (犀牛) from South Africa. The white rhino doesn’t get its name from its colour; the African word white means wild. The white rhino has a wide mouth and it helps the animal to eat grass. Sadly, there are very few white rhinos left because humans hunt them for their valuable horns (). They can be made into things like handles (柄,把手) for knives.

In today's world, sleep experts say that for a better night's rest, Americans should turn off their smartphones or iPad before sleeping. Such electronic products make the brain more active, and then influence their sleep. But according to a latest survey, more than 90% of Americans regularly use a computer or some other kinds of electronic products in the hour before bed.
Researchers are finding that man-made light from some electronic products at night may reduce the brain chemicals(化学物质) that help sleep. The researchers showed that sitting in the light from computer tablets clearly lowered levels of the chemical which manages our body clocks and plays a role in the sleep cycle.
In the study, the researchers let volunteers read, play games and watch movies on a tablet for different time while measuring(测量) how much light their eyes received. They found that two hours of sitting before a bright tablet screen at night reduced the sleep chemical levels by about 22%.
Studies of students using computers at night have got the similar results. And researchers say that may not only cause sleeplessness, but also raise the risk of obesity(肥胖症), diabetes(糖尿病) and other diseases.
To be on the safe side, the researchers advise us to use computers less before bed, or at the very least turning down your screen as much as possible.

【题目】 Bobby Bear’s rules for meeting a bear:

Keep calm(镇静的). Do not move suddenly. Do not speak loudly.

Stay as far away from the bear as possible. If you stay far away, the bear will not feel threatened(害怕的) and will not attack(攻击) you.

If you see a bear, but it does not see you, turn around and walk slowly away as far as possible.

If a bear comes to you, stand as quiet as possible. When it stops, turn back slowly. Remember: NO sudden movements. Never run from a bear. Bears can run up to 30 miles every hour. You cannot run faster than a bear and running will make the bear want to catch you.

Don’t climb trees to escape(摆脱) a bear. Most bears can climb trees. They can follow you.

If a bear starts to follow you, throw something on the ground. This may distract(转移注意力) the bear and give you time to run away.

If a bear does attack you, drop to the ground and play dead. Usually, bears will stop attacking. If the bear loses interest, it will leave. Keep calm. Living is the most important thing.
