7.Cruel truths that help you grow
You can't always be in control of everything.(36)ABut if you want to continue to grow, you should give up your control on everything. You can still work hard for greatness, but put the work in and then let go.
You can't accomplish great things without taking great risks.(37)FPeople who truly change the world are the biggest risk takers. They put everything in risk and fail in something they believe in.And they treat each failure as an opportunity to grow and get better.(38)C In life, there's no shortage of doubters, haters and pessimists.Overcoming this cruel truth is simple:don't listen.Choose to stand by yourself, trust your instincts(本能),and forget about people who don't support your goals and passions.
Death is a part of life.(39)GHowever,there's something you can do to make losing someone you love a lot less painful:make them a part of your life right now.Don't put off making that phone call or paying a visit to a friend or a family member you haven't seen for a while.Treat every moment with your loved ones as if it's your last, and you won't have any regrets.

Perhaps the best-known example of a company in this field is Airbnb-an American web business which allows you to rent out your spare room to holidaymakers. It says it operates in 34,000 cities and it has over 1,500,000 listings. It seems to have cornered the market!
A British company is doing something with parking spaces.JustPark's founder,Anthony Eskinazi, says,"When I had the original idea,I spotted a driveway close to a sports stadium. It would have been so convenient if I could have just parked in that driveway rather than a commercial car park."And he has a big clientele(顾客):around 20,000 people have advertised their spaces on the site, and he says around half a million drivers use it.There are other sites doing very similar things, like Uber and Lyft-these let drivers share their cars with other passengers.Any driver knows how valuable a place to park is.A church near Kings Cross in central London has apparently made over£200,000 by renting out space in its yard to travelers!
Because this is a new business world, those rules aren't there yet and many people are happy to share-as long as it pays!
But the sharing company has its critics:the competitors of these new companies.People who run things like traditional B&B,commercial car parks and taxi services are afraid of ending up out of pocket. And there is another issue:regulations on these new businesses are unclear. How will renting out your driveway affect your neighbor?

4.According to ReelSEO.com,a website about video marketing, there are more than 2 million cat videos on YouTube.People have watched these videos more than 25 billion times, which equates to an average of 12,000 views per cat video.I couldn't help but wonder:Who is so drawn to this type of content? And what effects do cat-related media have on viewers?
These questions encouraged my initial search to gather data on the Internet cat phenomenon.I scoured academic databases to see what the literature could tell me but found no existing data about why people watched so many cat videos online or what effects these videos might have on us.
So I decided to find out myself. My neighborhood Internet celebrity feline(猫)-the adorable Lil Bub,who happens to also live in Bloomington,Indiana-shared the link on her website after I launched an online survey. With Bub's help, the survey quickly got nearly 7,000 respondents. The results from this study suggested that certain people are more likely than others to view large amounts of Internet cat videos. It also showed that cat videos can positively influence the emotions of viewers.
According to my study,if you currently own or have previously owned a cat,of if you've volunteered to assist pets in the past years, you're more likely to watch cat videos.Cat video viewers also spent more time online than other participants, tended to be more agreeable and shy,and felt they had adequate emotional support in their lives.
The data also revealed information about the nature of audience interactions with online cat media.Three-quarters of respondents did not actively seek out cat content.Instead, they happened upon it in the course of their daily Internet use,Still, online cat videos aren't all about passive consumption. Many people also produce their own cat-related media to post online, which often increases comments and likes.
But I really wanted to learn what effects watching online cat videos might have on viewers.People in my study reported experiencing more positive emotions and having higher energy levels after watching cat videos than before. They also reported lower levels of negative emotions after viewing online cat-related content. In short, most of us get a little psychological pick-me-up when we watch Lil Bub climb the stairs.
