With the development of modem technology, there are plenty ways for us to contact people. One of our most favorite ways is probably WeChat. The main reason may be because it is very convenient to use with the popularity of the smart phone. We can contact friends whenever it is but wherever we are. We like using WeChat also because it is very cheap. It costs only a little and is even free unless Wi-Fi is available. Another advantage lies in the speed with which messages get sent and received. My neighbor Smith is always consideration to others. One day, I was going to deliver speech at an institute when I found my car wouldn’t get start. I rushed to the street to hire a taxi. Just at that time I come across Smith. He was hurried going to attend to his sick mother in hospital.

My father is the man I respect most. Strict as he may be, however he never fails to show her care and consideration. Once I broke a neighbor window. Seeing nobody around, I ran away immediately. When Dad came home, he noticed my uneasiness and asked me what has happened. I could only tell him a truth. Instead of scold, he praised my honesty and then encouraged me to apologize our neighbor. I learned from this incident that not only does Dad take care of my health and he also teaches me what to be a good citizen. How luckily I am to have such a good father!

Today, millions of people want learn or improve their English. Which is good, to study in Britain or in your own country?

The benefits of going to Britain seems obvious. You will listen to the language all the time, surround completely by the language wherever you would go and have to speak English if you are with the local people. In China, there is always possible to speak Chinese in class and the learning is slower. However, there are also advantage of studying at home. You don’t have to make big changes to your life. Beside, it’s much cheaper than going to Britain.

In my view, for most people without enough money, being al home is their only choice. A most important thing to do in this situation is make good use of your opportunities—speaking only English in class and using English whenever possibly outside the class.

I think university life are a time for learning and experiencing new things. I can meet other young people like me from many different place and make lots of friends. I will probably live away home during this time, and I will promote independence. Studying at university will be quite difference from studying at high school. I may not have so many homework to finish every day, and I will spend much more time do what I love. I know that at any university here are different associations or clubs organized by students. I want to join in a film club and a chess club because I have interest in them. These clubs can make your life interesting but help me make friends.
