【题目】 One day an old dog lost his way when he was catching rabbits. Soon he saw a young lion running towards him with a hungry look in his eyes.

When the dog saw some bones (骨头) on the ground close by, he immediately stood beside it. Then the dog began to "eat" the bones with his back to the lion. Just as the lion was about to jump, the old dog said: "That was one delicious lion! I want to know if there are any more around here."

Hearing this, the young lion went back to the safety in the trees.

A squirrel (松鼠) saw this and understood the dog's trick (诡计). So he told the lion what happened. The young lion was angry. "Jump on my back and see what's going to happen to that dog!" the young lion shouted.

The old dog saw the lion coming with the squirrel. Instead of running, he pretended (假装) he hadn't seen them. When they got close enough, the old dog said: "Where's my squirrel? I sent him off forty minutes ago to bring me another lion."
