7、A recent survey shows that nearly half of the school children in my city do not have breakfast every day.

Different children may have different reasons for it. Some students who stay up late studying choose to miss breakfast to have a few more minutes in bed. Others are given money to buy themselves breakfast on the way to school because their parents are too busy to prepare it for them. In addition, some schoolgirls in particular often go without breakfast to stay slim.

As a result, without enough energy , the children tend to feel weak and sleepy in class in the morning . Besides, they’ll find it hard to concentrate and work less efficiently. Therefore, it’s also hard for them to do well in exams.

In fact, breakfast plays an important part, which provides 30% of the whole day’s energy.. For a creative mind and better study, school children should start their day with a regular breakfast.
