If McCain is able to defeat Senator Barack Obama, who is trying to become America’s first black president, then Palin would become the first woman to be vice-president.
Palin’s politics are very conservative(保守的). She supports oil-drilling, which is opposed by many environmentalist. And she is also against gay marriage. She is also inspiring fashion! There has been a big increase in the sales of the glasses she wears.
But as the democrats(民主党人)have pointed out, she is inexperienced. If elected McCain would be the oldest president in history at 72. If something was to happen to him, Palin would become president.
