When you were young, who rode you around on the back of his bike? Who played football and flew kites with you in the park? Who helped you 21 your first difficult maths problem? Who taught you the difference between 22 ?

Your dad. Now it is your turn to do something for him. This Sunday. June 18th is 23 Day. So why not do something 24 to thank your dad?

The idea of Father's Day came from a(n) 25 lady called Sonora Smart Dodd in 1909. She wanted a special day to honour her father. He raised(¸§Ñø)six children by himself 26 his wife died during the birth of their 27 child. Dodd thought there needed to be a day to honour great and loving dads. Her father was born 28 , so she chose to hold the first Father's Day celebration on his birthday in 1910. In 1924, US president Calvin Coolidge 29 the idea of a national Father's Day. Finally, in 1966, the third Sunday in June was made Father's Day. There are many ways 30 your love and thanks.

Send 31 a greeting card. Usually fathers prefer cards that are not too emotional£¨Ò׶¯¸ÐÇéµÄ£©. So perhaps choose one that will make him 32 .

A small present, such as a photo of your family, 33 make him feel like a king.

Send him 34 : the red rose is the official Father's Day flower.

If he has a 35 . cover his desktop with words like "I love you, Dad."

¡¡ Billiards£¨Ì¨Çò£© is my favorite ball sport. The English player Ronnie O¡¯Sullivan and Chinese player Ding Junhui are ¡¡46 my favorite players. They play it very well. I hope I¡¯ll be ¡¡47¡¡ to play it well, too. Of course, it is only a dream. Of the two players, I 48 O¡¯Sullivan, because he played it so quickly in the races.

When I was nine, I ¡¡49 this ball sport for the first time. My PE teacher, Mr. Xu, and I became good ¡¡50 because of billiards. I still remember that one day Mr. Xu and I played billiards ¡¡51 class. We were so excited that we both ¡¡52 the lunchtime. Suddenly, my father showed up, he was very angry with me.

Well, it is ¡¡53 to know the rules, but it is not easy to get a good ¡¡54 in the game. Now billiards is becoming more and more ¡¡55 in China, and more and more Chinese are enjoying it.

Which of your two hands do you use most? Very ¡¡¡¡1   of us use both of our hands equally (ÏàµÈµØ).   2   of us are right-handed. Only about five  3  out of a hundred are left-handed. New-born babies can hold things   4  either of their hands, but in about two years they usually like to use their right hands. Scientists don¡¯t know   5  this happens. They have ¡¡¡¡6    that monkeys prefer to use one of their hands more than ¡¡¡¡7    . There are as many right-handed monkeys as there are left-handed ones. Next time you visit the zoo,   8   the monkeys carefully. You will see that some of them will use their left hands. But most humans(ÈËÀà) use their right hands better and this makes life difficult for the left-handed people. We live in a right-handed world.
