my English was still very bad.
In 1993, I went to high school. It is the best high school in my city. A lot of classes are taught in
English. I took the advice of my English teacher. I bought a good Polish-English dictionary. I started to
study American pronunciation. I watched American TV and movies. So I was getting better and better at
understanding spoken English. I also learnt some words and phrases (短语) that I could use in my own
