     The students of Class Three were having a talk about meals.
     "Which meal do we all need most, breakfast, lunch or supper?" Miss Barker asked. All the boys and girls put up their hands. They all wanted to answer the question.
     "What do you think, Jim?" Miss Barker asked.
     "Supper ! " he answered.
     "Supper is the big meal of the day," said Miss Barker, "but I don't think it is the meal we need most."
     Tom stood up, "Is lunch the meal we need most?"
     "No," said Miss Barker. "Breakfast is the most necessary meal for us all. Why is that?"
     Ann put up her hand. " From night until morning it is a long time. We can't go without food for such a long time," she said.
     "That's right," said Miss Barker. "We need food every morning. What may happen to us if we have no breakfast? "
     The class had many answers to give.
     "We may feel hungry."
     "We may not feel like working."
     "We may feel sick."
     "Yes, you are right," said Miss Barker. "Now let's talk about what makes a good breakfast. Give me your answers. I will write them on the blackboard. "
