When you ride a bicycle, remember that you share the road with cars and trucks. They are a lot bigger than you are. You should follow the same rules as car and truck drivers. Here are some special rules for bicycle riders:
* Always wear a helmet
（头盔）when you ride your bicycle.* Do not ride your bicycle on the sidewalk.
* Ride on bike paths where they can be found.
* Always ride in the same direction
（方向）as traffic.* Always ride on the right-handed side of the road.
* When you ride with a friend, do not ride next to each other. Ride one after the other.
* Obey
（遵守）all traffic signals（信号）and signs. Stop at all stop signs.* Walk your bicycle across busy crossings.
* Be sure to use a hand signal to show that you want to turn or stop.
* Have a headlight that works.
