On Thursday I will have to decide what I want myself
to do over a weekend．I am thinking of making a trip
to London, and visit the British Museum and some
parks．But I have spent lots my money, so I cannot
even go out of town．I may go to a film, or a concert．
Yes, a concert can be very excited．You can watch your
stars while enjoying your favorite music．So a
concert cost so much．I may just listen to music．I have

Last week my parents and I took a
two-day trip to Emei Mountain in
Sichuan．As everyone knows, it's famous

and animals．The weather was fine．It
was about noon we arriued at the foot
of the mountain．The three of them
were very excited．As we climbed the
mountain, we fed monkeys, visiting
temples and told stories．On the way
up I was busy taking picture since the
scenery was so beautiful．The time passes
quickly．Evening came down．We spent
the night in a hotel at the top of the
mountain．The food was expensive and
the service was good．I was so tired
that I fell asleep at the moment my
head touched the pillow．

Dear editor,
Our school lies at the foot of a mountain with a small
river pass by．It used to look like a beautiful garden．
There used to be green trees and all kind of flowers in
our school all the year round．It used to have a quiet place．
Things changed since a chemical works was built
near our school a year ago．Every day they produce much
waste water and harm gases．The terrible pollution has
done great harm to us．But the great noise from the works
has affected our teaching and studying activities, it makes our school
no longer a quiet and good place for study．We suffer a lot the pollution．
We do wish you can help us to take steps to protect our
school and stop it from being polluted．

When my twenty birthday came, I was not at home．
In order to celebrate such important day with my parents,
I wrote him a letter, in which I thanked them for having
raised me for twenty years, and expressed my love for
them．Later, Mum talked me when they read the letter,
tears were filled her eyes．But Dad appeared very cool．

Yesterday my English teacher asked each student write
a composition title “The Greatest Achievement of My
Life”．I was not sure what to write about it．I’ve thought
it over for a long time．I did many things．Coming to
America, get a job and meeting new people were my
achievement．I think my greatest achievement was
learning English．Sometime I didn’t understand everything
people were saying, but each day I got better or better．
I told my teacher this was difficult composition to write．
Above all, it is hard to measure everything you have done
in your life．
