Value Our Water
When we got up in the moring every day,we start our daily
routine:washing our face,brushing our teeth and maybe take
a bath．When you do this,do you ever think that there is enough
weater or not?
One thirds of the 4.4 billion people in the developing world
has no way to clean drinking water．Water-related diseases kill
10,000 to 20,000 children every day in the developed world．
What comes to our minds when we read these numbers?
Do you think we are luck or not?In fact,the out look for the
future,even for us,is not very bright．
So let us value our water as much as possibly not only for
ourselver,but also to our chidren
Nowdays millions of people of all age take pleasure in a
hobby which is both interested and fun．And every year
more and more people start a stamp collection of your own
and discover an interest which can even last lifetime．Starting
your collection of stamps are easy because they are everywhere．
Holiday and birthday postcards from relatives and letters
from friends can all provide you for stamps from all over
the world．So once you've started collecting seriously,you
will probably want to join in the Stamp Collectors' Club
which exist to add more stamps to your collection．
At first I was not quite willing to sit down and
watched the 90-minute football match．Usually I just
checked the results because I thought that was dull
to watch a game in which players kicked a ball each
other．Therefore,my fater loves football．During the
World Cup in 2002,my dad stays up late just to watch
his favorite sport．Seeing his strong interest in this
game of 22 men run after a ball,I decided to sit down
to watch the game．I found the game excited．And my
dad explained for the rules．We shared our joy．Football
is not too badly as long as I watch it with my dad!
The British have always been famous of their readiness to queus．
Not anymore．For 20 pounds a hour,they can now hire someone
from Londom company Q4U to stand in line for him．The
company get the idea after television presenter John Fashanu,
a former footballer,paid poor man 300 pounds to queue
for application to buy a 1-million-pounds apartment,The
company already has about 80 queuers on their books are
aged from 20 to 50．“It's a job that doesn't require a lot of
skill or experience．All you need it is plenty of patience,”the

One day I told Mr．Wang,out maths teacher,was ill．
I was worried about him and went to see him after the school．
When I enter his room,he struggled up to welcome
me．I let him lie dowm again．Mr．Wang looked pale．
I asked for his trouble．He said he was having
a bad cold．Then he had a bad cough．After take some
medicine he was getting better．He asked me that we
liked the teacher who took place．When he heard everything
was all right,I could see he was pleasant．Finally I
asked him don't to worry about the work and have a good rest．
Not all people like to work and everyone likes to play．All over
the world men and woman,boys and girls enjoy sports．Since
long ago,many adults and children called their friends together
to spend hours,even days play games．One of the reasons people
like to play is that sports help them to live happily．In other
they help to keep people strong and feel good．When people are
playing games,they move a lot．That is how sports are good activities
for their health．Having fun with their friends make them happy．
Many people enjoy sports by watching the others play．In American
big cities,thousands sell tickets to watch football or basketball games．
Last week my parents and I took a two-day trip to Emei
Mountain in Sichuan．As everyone kouws,it's famous
mountain with all kinds of plants and animals．The weather
was fine．It was about noon we arrived at the foot of
the mountain．The three of them were very excited．As we
climbed the mountain,we fed monkeys,visiting temples
and told stories．On the way up I was busy taking picture
since the scenery was so beautiful．The time passes quickly．
Evening came down．We spent night in a hotel at the top
of the mountain．The food was expensive and the service was
good．I was so tired that I fell asleep at the moment my
head touched the pillow．
Though great progress has been made in science these years,there
are still many people living in poor conditions．They make their lives
by collecting and selling used thing．Their children cannot go to school
because they have not enough money to send their children to there．
Why you think so many people still suffer from poverty now?
The answer lies on tile population wxplosion．A president
of a developing country once said:“It is us who are to blame
the poverty because we used to produce' child without limit．
Although this few words sound simple enough,they have
clear pointed out one of the causes of the population explosion．
It is bad mammers in the classroom to look for what our
neighbor had written,or try to see what mark he has received
without being permitted．It is good manners for them to help
each other if we have the same desire and the teacher allows to it
In examinations and in certain kinds of written work,it is dishonest
and foolishly to help or to ask help from others．When one student
does so,mush larger values are destroying．One may not agree
to examination system,but at present it is basically the only
measure that the teacher and the rest of the world can depend to
decide if or ont each of us meets the requirement．
