I often dream of a teacher．I dream of standing on the

platform in the classroom and give lessons to lovely boys

and girls．I teach them, play with them, but watch them

growing up．I am always young when I was staying

with them．I know there is not easy to be a teacher．You

have to learn in order to teach．With enough knowledge,

you can never learn well．What is more, you have to

be friends with your pupils and take good care of him．

Only in this way can you be a good teacher and win

respect from them．Though I am a student now, I will work as very hard to make my dream come true．

your books．Recently, even though many people

　　My mother was born in a small town in Italy．She was

three when her parents settle in the USA in 1926．They lived

in Chicago, that my grandfather worked making ice cream．

At 16 my mother graduated a high school, went on to

a secretarial school (文秘学校), and finally worked with

a secretary for a railroad company．

　　She was beautiful, too．When a local photographer

used her pictures in his monthly window display (陈列),

she was very happily．Her favorite photo showed her

sitting by Lake Michigan．My mother was always used

to say that when we died, God gave you back your

best self．She'd give us that picture and say to us

children, “This is how I'm going to look like in heaven．”

　　Though great progress has been made in science these years, there

are still many people living in poor conditions．They make their lives

by collecting and selling used thing．Their children cannot go to school

because they have not enough money to send their children to there．

Why you think so many people still suffer from poverty now?

The answer lies on the population explosion．A president

of a developing country once said “It is us who are to blame for

the poverty because we used to ‘produce’ child without limit．”

Although this few words sound simple enough, they have

clear pointed out one of the causes of the population explosion．

　　I have a friend who has been there for us

through thick and thin．She is always here to

cheer me when I am feeling down．She has

problems of herself own and when she's not

felt right, I hold on to her as tight as I

can do．We have known each other for years．

She is smart, loving and caring．When I look at

her I always wonder if I will never have a friend

that he can treat me better than her．Her name is

Alisha．I don't even know what I'd do with her．
