Dear editor,
Some years ago, my hometown was used to be a beautiful place. Thick trees and grass can be seen all over the hills. As time going by, people destroyed almost the whole forest grow more crops. To make matters worse, people let their cattles eat up the grass. So you can only see wasteland instead green forests now. As a result of, when it rains, the soil is washed down the hills and into the rivers. Strongly winds also blow away the valuable soil lie on the top of the fields.
I do hope all the people will take good care of the forests but plant more trees to improve our living conditions.

I have been a friend with Li Ming since we go to primary school. He is one of my best friend. But last week something terribly happened to us. In Friday we had a maths exam. On other hand, we are good friends, so it was not easy for me to say "no" to my friend. Finally, I did not show her my answers. Today we have a short trip to Nanshan Park. We set out by the school bus at 7:20 a.m. The weather was pleasant and all of us were exciting. After two hours ride , we arrived there at nine thirty. Then we began our program as soon we got off the bus. We played games in the forest very happy. At 12:30, we had the lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon we walked to the wild animal park where we saw varieties animals. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Time past quickly and we had to leave. It was half past six when they got back safely.
