I take the firm position that parents do not owe their children a college education. If they can  __1  it, they can certainly send them to the best universities. I lived in Dallas, Texas nearly all my life with my mom, dad and older sister. We were           41    to respect others, value education, and get all that we could out of life. My parents always say, “   42  hard and the world is yours.” They are never without a   43  word of advice or a bit of encouragement when life gets tough.

My friend Michelle is blind, but you’d never know it. She makes such good use of her other   36 , including her "sixth sense", that she rarely gives the impression she’s   37  anything.

I’ve always had strong opinions of how love should be expressed, but others had their own ways of showing care.
