I’m very glad you can come today and learn about some of the amazing Polynesian way. As you can see, here behind myself is one of their boats. To build a boat like this, you needed a very tall, straight tree. You first cut down the tree and remove the branch. Then you cut the tree in half so you have two long pieces of woods. You use one piece to make the boat. Remove the inside for a person to sit. Take the bark off the outside of the boat and puts oil on it so it will easily go through the sea. My uncle will never forget what was happened to him yesterday. He was invited to a inn and drank a lot of beer with his old friends. Finally, he got drunk. As the high school student, I like to talk with foreigners to practise my oral English but learn more about other cultures. There were two foreign teachers in our school in this term. On Monday morning, I was on my way to school when suddenly as I saw a boy knocked down

by the car. In a hurry, I ran over and found the boy was serious hurt with much blood on his face.

Immediately, I call an ambulance and the boy was taken to the nearest hospital. For my relief, the

boy was fine and would recover in a few day. I went away without leaving his name. I was late for

In recent years, study abroad has been popular. Many students are trying his best to go abroad. There are many advantages in attending schools in abroad. During the summer holidays in this year, I thought I shall do something meaningfully instead of staying at home, but I got a job at a KFC fast-food restaurant and worked there as a cleaner. I worked seven hours a day for three weeks. The job was hard and bored and seemed endless, that made me very tired that I nearly gave it up half way. After all, I stick to it with determination. Every day I started off for work early in the morning and got home lately in the evening. Finally I finished the job before the new term began. Now, I understand what labor means. I think it is really successful experience.

Although it was autumn, but it was snowing in Tibet. It was such cold that our legs felt like blocks of ice. On the late afternoon, we found that our water bottles froze because cold weather. But we still enjoyed us during the journey. At one point, we were surprising to find ourselves cycling through clouds. In the valleys colorful butterflies fly around us. It was a great fun to cycle down the hills as it gradual became much warmer. So we had to change our warm coats for T–shirt and shorts.
