We were standing on the bridge, trying to catch some fish for supper when a small red plane flew almost directly above our heads. We could even 1 the pilot's (敬佩埀議) face. ^I think he's 2 , ̄jack said. ^His plane is making a strange 3 . ̄ ^Well, we can't do anything, can we? ̄ I said, ^We can't even 4 from here. ̄ We were 5 a boating holiday and we were 6 away from the nearest town. Jack suggested we 7 the plane down the river in order to save 8 . I agreed. We dropped out fishing lines and ran towards our 9 .It lay under some bushes (茜峯還) about a hundred metres 10 the river. Luckily our engine (窟強字) started almost at once and 11 we were boating down the river. Jack came to this 12 of the country for a holiday almost every year and he knew the area well. The 13 was already becoming wider. We went around a bend (淀爆侃) and there was a lake in front of us. We looked across the 14 and found something in the water, near the island in the middle. We raced 15 the lake. By the time we reached the 16 , the pilot-a very young 17 was sitting on top of the 18 .

^Thanks for coming to 19 me. I'm sorry I disturbed (汁氾) you while you were fishing. Anyway, would you like some fish for supper? ̄ She reached into the plane and pulled out a large fish. ^There's many more 20 ! ̄she said happily.
