Yesterday morning , I was surprised to hear that my friend Li Hua had been hit by a car and had been taken to hospital. The other day he was going to cross a street very cautiously and didn’t go until he saw the traffic light turn green. But hardly had he got to the middle of the street when he saw a car suddenly appear on his right-hand side and come directly towards him. It was too late for Li Hua to dodge and he was hit by the car and thrown a few meters away. He was sent to hospital straight away and when I went to see him last night, he was out of danger but still looked pale.
