Extreme sports, like bungee jumping, skateboarding, sky surfing, etc., are very popular with young people nowadays, but there are also different voices from the opposition. People who are interested in extreme sports hold that these sports, different from the regular sports, are more exciting and interesting, and that trying extreme sports is a great challenge to the limits of human beings. However, some, especially the generation of parents, question the safety of doing extreme sports. They worry that people may get injured because extreme sports require speed and skills, which are much more dangerous to practise. Another concern is about the high expenditure, especially on the equipment.
As an extreme sports fan, I admit that doing extreme sports can be dangerous sometimes, but this cannot be a sufficient reason to deny all the enjoyment and excitement that we can experience from extreme sports.
