Dear Editor,

       I’m a Senior 3 student. I failed the mid-term examination two months ago, which makes me very sad. If I can’t do well in the examinations now, my dream to enter one of the top universities next year will not come true. What is worse, I find I can’t study as hard as before and easily feel tired. I also feel very lonely now. My classmates are all busy with their studies. I miss the days in Senior 1 and Senior 2 when I could share my happiness and sadness with my classmates.

       I’m glad to have received your letter just now.

It is natural that you don’t feel happy when you failed the mid-term examination. Though you failed in the exam two months ago, you should have confidence in yourself and feel relaxed so that you can do better in the coming exams. The reason you feel too tired to study may be that you are not confident. What you must do now is to organize your time well and be sure of yourself. Don’t work too late or too hard. In this way you are less likely to get tired. If you miss your good days with your classmates, talk to your classmates about your worries. I’m sure they are willing to help you out no matter how busy they are.
