Respecting Parents Program

Showing respect to parents is one of the Chinese traditional moral values. However, as most students today are＂the only child” in their family, they often regard themselves as the “centre” of the family without caring much about their parents. To improve this situation, our school has started a program, which is called “Respecting Parents Program”. Ten “Dos” have been worked out for the students to follow. For example, we are expected to remember our parents’ birthdays and express our good wishes to them and greet them when we see them returning home.
